"Maia Kaja means "my universe" in a non-existent language. This universe takes its origins from Zeynep Malaz's microcosmos, who is at the same time the founder and the designer of Maia Kaja. The creation of this universe hinges on Zeynep's professional experiences in the domain of Arts, through which she acquires a particular perception of colors and tissues, after majoring in Film Studies and working as an art- director for a while in film industry; she then moved to Barcelona in order to study sculpture and painting, amplifying her kaleidoscopic world. Zeynep is now transferring all her experiences which she gathered along the road through Maia Kaja."
